XRP Eyes ETF Hopes Amid Market Uncertainty

The market attention on XRP price growth intensified because an XRP Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) may seek approval soon. The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) submitted its 19b filing to endorse the proposed XRP ETF that Bitwise plans to release alongside other businesses seeking regulatory approval. Matt Hougan explained the obstacles and developmental stages of Bitwise at an interview.

XRP failed to maintain its previous $3.40 price level and continues to meet barriers in its attempts at higher value points. The genuine support is developing near $2.40 and this price level needs investor purchases to break out upward. XRP achieved a 7% gain in the previous week which has now extended its month-on-month growth to 16%. Current trading volume shows decreasing market involvement because investors feel less sure about the market condition. 

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) officially started to review Grayscale’s spot XRP ETF filing. Major asset management firms 21Shares, Canary Capital, WisdomTree, and Bitwise submitted additional applications besides Grayscale. XRP’s price path during 2024 may undergo changes based on the decisions that the SEC will make regarding XRP Exchange-Traded Funds.

XRP price may be preparing for recovery as technical indicators signal a possible upward move. The TD Sequential indicator has displayed a buy signal on the four-hour chart, suggesting bullish momentum could be building.

The indicator functions as a tool traders use to predict moments of trend changes. A buy signal arises after a price reaches its maximum drop point signaling possible recovery. Market outlook trends may be converting according to the signal but experts stipulate waiting for further proof to establish definite market forecasts.

Will Ripple Price Rally Above $3 Level?

The XRP price is trading near $2.57, experiencing slight downward pressure after failing to sustain recent gains. The cryptocurrency faces immediate support at $2.50, which could serve as a crucial level for buyers. A breakdown below this level might trigger further downside towards $2.00. 

Technical indicators show mixed signals. The current RSI indicator value reaches 38.79 which suggests declining market momentum. A MACD buy signal emerges through the crossing of the signal line above the MACD line. Additional negative price movements may happen unless market momentum starts moving in a different direction.

Strong resistance marks appear at $3.00 which is also followed by $3.20 and $3.50 levels. XRP has the potential to gain more investors if it breaches the $3.00 mark which could strengthen its market trajectory. If XRP does not break through its existing levels it may continue to stay within its current price range.
