1. Zcash (ZEC)

Zcash has emerged as the top crypto gainer today with a surge of 14% over the last 24 hours. The privacy-focused token has been on a steady uptrend, surging by over 400% over the past 30 days. Currently, the price is hovering around $361 with a market capitalization and trading volume of $5.8 billion and $760 million, respectively.

Zcash has been on a good run this month as the popularity of privacy tokens keeps growing. The rally has been fueled by the introduction of Grayscale Zcash Trust, which recently crossed over $137 million in assets. Although the management fee is 2.50%, the interest of investors is very high, indicating the increasing confidence in privacy tokens.

Additionally, Arthur Hayes, the founder of BitMEX, predicted that ZEC could reach $10,000 soon. Zcash has already risen by almost 1,000% in recent weeks, placing it closer to the market capitalization of Monero.

2. Hedera (HBAR)

Hedera’s price is gaining ground, trading around $0.207 at the time of writing, after climbing 24% already this week. With a gain of over 7% today, HBAR is looking to challenge its immediate resistance at the $0.2170 region. Its market cap and trading volume have also seen gains, surging to $8.8 billion and $784 million.

This week saw the debut of the Hedera spot Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) on the New York Stock Exchange. Canary Capital confirmed on Tuesday that it launched the Hedera spot ETF, trading under the ticker HBR. Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas has noted that the fund received approximately $8 million in inflows on its initial trading day.

3. Aerodrome (AERO)

Aerodrome has emerged as the third top crypto gainer today. The altcoin’s price has retraced above the $1 key level following the recent drop. This latest bullish momentum has pushed the weekly gains to 35%, while the monthly gain stands at 7%. Currently, the price is resting around $1.07 with a trading volume of $115 million.

The recent acquisition of the native token of the DEX by Animoca Brands has led to market optimism that has seen Aerodrome rally. The Hong Kong-based Web3 company confirmed a purchase of AERO and staked the tokens in the form of veAERO to get governance and staking advantages.

Animoca furthermore emphasized the expansion of Aerodrome on the Base network of Coinbase, stating that it represents one of the significant forces of DeFi. Despite no details on the amount of the acquisition, co-founder Yat Siu stated that Animoca is currently one of the largest holders of AERO.
