KuCoin Partners with VBA and 1Matrix to Drive Blockchain Innovation in Vietnam

Seychelles-based crypto exchange, KuCoin, announced on September 3 that it has signed a strategic partnership with the Vietnam Blockchain and Digital Assets Association (VBA) and 1Matrix Joint Stock Company (1Matrix). The trading platform announced the tripartite deal in a press release, eliciting widespread reactions from market participants.
The partnership is targeted towards strengthening blockchain infrastructure. In addition, it will improve digital asset use cases and Vietnam’s growing digital economy. Each partner brings varying expertise, aimed at transforming Vietnam into one of the world’s leading centres for blockchain adoption and innovation.

Partnership Significance
Over the years, KuCoin has built a reputation based on security and transparency. Notably, the exchange was among the first to implement know-your-customer (KYC) and Anti-money Laundering (AML) compliance standards.
In addition, KuCoin regularly publishes proof-of-reserves reports, underscoring the company’s commitment to ensuring accountability. Meanwhile, KuCoin Labs and KuCoin Ventures have already started investing in new blockchain projects. They are also working with universities to develop new talents that will drive crypto innovation in the country.
On the other hand, VBA was established under the Vietnam Ministry of Home Affairs in 2022 as the nation’s first-ever blockchain association, where 1Matrix is a member. KuCoin will contribute its expertise on advanced technology based on best practices with high security standards. 1Matrix will take charge of local infrastructure and other related resources, while VBA will oversee policy advocacy, including standardisation and community engagement.

Damen Chen, the trading platform’s Vice President, was excited about the partnership. He stated: “Through this partnership with VBA and 1Matrix, KuCoin is excited to co-develop blockchain technology and commit to long-term collaboration in building community trust, advancing digital asset education, and nurturing Vietnam’s blockchain startup ecosystem.”
Similarly, Mr. Phan Duc Trung, VBA and 1Matrix’s Chairman, re-echoed the partnership’s significance to strengthening Vietnam’s digital asset market and integration with global peers.
KuCoin Launches Mining Platform
In a separate press release on September 3, KuCoin announced the launch of KuMining, its latest cloud mining platform, designed to simplify crypto mining operations.
According to the publicised document, KuCoin’s new invention will eliminate barriers like expensive hardware, energy management, and maintenance. KuMining aims to achieve these targets by allowing users to rent industrial-grade hashrate directly and supporting mining operations for Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), and merged Litecoin (LTC).

Jolie Du, KuMining’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), stated:
“KuMining equalises opportunities in crypto mining. Users can rent genuine hashrate, receive daily yields automatically, and avoid all the technical headaches.”
BC Wong, KuCoin’s CEO, explained that the new mining platform will transform KuCoin into an all-encompassing platform that enables users to earn sustainable assets. Meanwhile, as part of the program to mark the mining platform launch, KuCoin will begin a “7 Days to KuMining” campaign on September 9. This will help educate users on the intricacies of mining operations, using KuMining.
