Ethereum Set to Rebound Up to 90% After Recent Market Losses, SharpLink Gaming Predicts

SharpLink Gaming, the world’s second-biggest holder of Ethereum, expects a fast rise in Ethereum’s price. Company chairman Joseph Lubin and CIO Matt Sheffield said past data shows prices usually bounce back strongly after big market drops. The crypto market crash on October 10 caused one of the biggest losses ever seen, even larger than the FTX collapse. Many firms that had borrowed money had to sell Bitcoin and Ethereum to pay back their debts.

“It’s important to consult history to put into perspective how major the liquidations of Black Friday (Oct 10) were, and what we could expect a recovery to look like,” said Matt Sheffield. He said big investors are now more careful when giving loans and are selling crypto to reduce risks. 

Sheffield Predicts Quick Rebound After Tax-Loss Selling Ends

Sheffield also said many companies are selling assets to claim tax losses as the year ends. This increases selling pressure on Ethereum. But once this phase ends, he expects prices to rise quickly. “History is going to rhyme at best. The longest government shutdown in US history coinciding with this liquidation event throws a bit of a wrench in things in terms of timing the resolution,” he said.

Joseph Lubin agreed with Sheffield, saying Ethereum might soon see a big comeback. He noted that a 90% rebound, as seen before, could take Ethereum to a new all-time high. Lubin added that the current weak phase could soon turn into a strong upward trend.

Ethereum is now trading near $3,328, up 3% in a day. However, trading activity is down 49%, showing traders are still cautious. Analysts think Ethereum could recover strongly once the selling slows, similar to what happened after the FTX crash, which took around six weeks to bounce back.

Adding to the ongoing buzz around Ethereum, another familiar voice from the finance world has reappeared. Robert Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, issued yet another dramatic market warning. He posted, “MASSIVE CRASH BEGINNING: Millions will be wiped out. Protect yourself. Silver, gold, Bitcoin, Ethereum will protect you.”

This isn’t new for him. Between November 2024 and October 2025, Kiyosaki has made roughly 30 similar crash predictions, always urging investors to turn to gold, silver, or crypto during uncertain times. Many online users now take his warnings lightly, as the market often moves in the opposite direction. Despite that, his latest mention of Bitcoin and Ethereum adds another layer of public attention toward digital assets amid the recent price discussions.
