Allegedly, the incident happened on the 24th of October in Hong Kong. Hana claimed Ng spiked her drink at a bar. Hana claims that after that, Ng tried to convince her to come to his hotel suite as well. Police are now also investigating while surveillance footage reportedly supports her account. However, soon after this incident, it became viral online with calls for immediate action.

Ng was relieved of all responsibilities and the company released a public statement regarding the matter. The firm vowed to uphold ethical and safety standards in the workplace. In addition, they stressed the need to keep public trust in the crypto space. Once the allegations began surfacing, Ng went private on his social media accounts.

Lingling Jiang Steps Up in Business Development

The business development strategy is now under the leadership of Jiang who has built a solid reputation within the company. She joined DWF Labs as head of regional sales for Asia in September 2022. Her quick rise through the ranks reflects her dedication and strong leadership qualities. 

Within eight months of joining, Jiang advanced to lead the Hong Kong office. By September 2023, she became a business partner, overseeing strategic partnerships and growth initiatives. Before her tenure at DWF Labs, Jiang worked in sales trading at OSL, a crypto exchange in Hong Kong. 

Her ability to build impactful partnerships is in line with DWF Labs’ strategic goals. She is now responsible for expanding DWF Labs’ global partnerships and increasing awareness of DWF Labs at industry events. She will also be an active participant in the firm’s strategic decision-making process.

Accusations and Evidence

Hana, the accuser, posted details of her experience on social media. She then posted surveillance footage which appeared to corroborate her claims.
