The recent decline in the crypto market has triggered massive liquidations. According to Coinglass data, over the past 24 hours, 315,935 traders were liquidated, with the total liquidations to $860.95 million. The largest single liquidation occurred on the HTX exchange, valued at $98.46 million.

1. Ethereum (ETH)

The largest altcoin, Ethereum, is trading at $3,049, recording a decline of 8.30% in the past 24 hours. Following the broad market correction, ETH dropped from a high intraday of $3,343 to seek support at the $3,024 mark. As the bearish sentiment solidifies, Ethereum is down by 9% and 7% on the weekly and monthly charts, respectively. Furthermore, its market cap dropped to $372 billion while the trading volume surged by 80% to 22.98 billion.

Santiment, a market intelligence platform, reported that 206,290 new addresses were added to Ethereum between January 24 and 25. This is the highest network growth since October of 2022.

2. Jupiter (JUP)

Solana-based DEX aggregator Jupiter has been on a rollercoaster ride recently, surging above the $1 key mark on the weekend. As of this writing, JUP is trading at $0.98, up by 6% in the past 24 hours. JUP is up by more than 20% on the monthly chart despite a weekly decline of 5%. In addition, the market cap and trading volume are $1.6 billion and $1.62 billion, respectively.

Jupiter Exchange revealed that it will burn $3 billion worth of JUP tokens, bringing down the total token supply to $7 billion. Moreover, the platform plans to allocate 50% of fees to buy back JUP tokens, reducing the overall supply and thus increasing its value.

3. Solana (SOL)

Since setting its all-time high at $295 on 19th January, SOL has been trading downward, declining by 12% over the past week. As of this writing, SOL is trading at $228, down by 11% in the past 24 hours. However, it has surged 23% on the monthly chart, with its market cap and trading volume at $110 billion and $7.07 billion, respectively. 

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez has noted that SOL price is trading inside a symmetrical triangle, which indicates further volatility. The levels to watch for a breakout are $251 and $262.
