Currently, the price of Sonic is sitting around $0.334 as it aims to break resistance at $0.3500. Despite this recent bullish outlook, the altcoin remains down 25% on the monthly chart with a market cap of $962 million.

Coinbase announced the listing of Sonic, which debuted on June 24. The ability to trade the S-USD pair will be facilitated upon establishing the liquidity. Due to the announcement, the volume spiked sharply by over 70% to $265 million. The open interest rose almost 10%, which shows an increasing level of speculative activity. Inclusion on Coinbase tends to increase access, especially among those interested in fiat-based tokens, and boost the general liquidity of the token.
